Why is Maintenance Important?

Vehicle maintenance means keeping all the systems and features functioning as closely as possible to the manufacturer’s original design intentions. Routine maintenance should be an ongoing process that begins when the vehicle is new.

Proactively tending to your vehicle’s maintenance needs is likely to help your vehicle start, run, and stop as the manufacturer intended, so you get the maximum amount of performance, reliability, and service life. Periodic inspections of the vehicle’s systems are the easiest way to monitor its health.

RV, Auto & Boat Care Tutorials

Brake symptoms you should look for!
Your brakes are probably the most important part of your car. If your car is having a braking problem, whether it's weak brakes, a mushy pedal, grinding sounds, you need to troubleshoot and repair it as soon as possible. We'll help you diagnose your braking problem so you know what repairs to make.
RV Roof symptoms that could become a major problem!

If you are finding that you have periodic leaks or blackening/chalking of your roof then you are a candidate for re-coating.  There are many different types of coatings on the market ranging from acrylics, urethanes and elastomerics to some high end silicone products.

How to determine if your clear coat has Oxidation
If the surface of your RV and/or Boat appears dull or chalky, it is likely that your gelcoat has oxidized. Gelcoat oxidation is easily remedied in most cases, but may require the hand of a professional if the oxidation is severe and that means that the surface must be sanded and polished to remove the oxidation.
RV Roof A/C cooling and charging

Most RVers complain that the A/C is not cooling the way that it should and ask for it to be recharged. Most all RV air conditioners are factory-sealed units and these units should never require recharging, unlike your automobile or RV dash air.

Very important to know the condition of your roof caulkings
The last thing you want to happen is to come back to your RV after a rainy season to realize that your roof caulking was so bad that water leaked inside your RV. And now you have mold and mildew in the walls of your RV that could also be hazardeous to your health.
